About Me
I'm a certified career coach and navigator, along with a QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience working with companies like Apple and Boeing. I've spent years in the exact seat my clients sit in now; writing tests, catching bugs before they become disasters, keeping releases from breaking, and still watching that work go unnoticed when it comes time to talk about pay or promotion.
I've Been There.
I've failed to get a promotion I knew I'd earned. I've been handed the typical 1-2% "loyalty raise" that felt more like an afterthought than recognition. For a long time, I assumed that meant something was wrong with me, that I wasn't good enough, vocal enough, or senior enough to be taken seriously. It took me a long time to realize the problem wasn't my performance. It was that I'd never learned how to document, translate, and advocate the value I was already creating in a way leadership could actually act on. Once I built that system for myself, everything changed ~ I landed a $5,000 raise in 3 months, not by working harder, but by finally making my impact visible.
I am especially passionate about this because I know what it feels like to do excellent work in QA and still feel like an afterthought in every conversation about pay raises. Too many QA Engineers are told, directly or indirectly, that QAs are underpaid and undervalued, that the only real path to a raise is switching to development. I don't believe that's true, and I built this coaching practice to prove it: to help junior and mid-level QA Engineers get seen, get valued, and get paid what they've already earned, without needing to abandon the field to do it.
